Ekiti - Members of the Ekiti state House of Assembly have asked President Muhammadu Buhari to direct the Department of State Services (DSS) to release four of their members detained by the service since last Friday.
The lawmakers who stormed the federal capital territory on Thursday, said the call for the president to direct the release of the detained legislators has become imperative because the DSS would not embark on such action without presidential approval.
The DSS operatives reportedly invaded the state House of Assembly complex in Ado Ekiti and whisked away the four members to Abuja and said to be acting on the order from above.
