Electrician stabs love rival to death in Delta

12 September 2016, 09:40

Abuja - An electrician has allegedly killed his wife's lover in the Warri South LGA of Delta State.

According to a Punch report, the incident occurred on Saturday when the electrician, identified as Ochuko, took to the residence of his love rival, Robinson Otuke, to confront the man.

It is believed that Ochuko had a disagreement with his wife prior to the incident, leading her to leave the family home and move in with Otuke.

During an argument that ensued when Otuke was confronted by his lover's husband, Ochuko is alleged to have produced a knife, stabbing the victim in the next and killing him.

Following the death, relatives of the deceased are believed to have mobilised to the suspect's house and burnt all of his property as an act of vengeance.

The suspect's wife has since been arrested and is currently in the custody of policemen from Ogborikoko Police Station in the Uvwie council area of the state.
