Kogi - Former member of the Kogi House of Assembly, Gabriel
Daudu, has been convicted by the Federal High Court of Lokoja, for money
laundering, Punch reported,
Daudu has been convicted for two years imprisonment after
the court found that he was guilty of 77 out of 208 counts pressed by the
Economic Financial Crimes Commission.

The charges pressed against him are for conspiracy, advanced
free fraud and money laundering involving money of N1.4 billion.
Daudu has been standing trial since April 2010 together with
former commissioner of Agriculture in Kogi State, Albert Adesina.
Adesina has been discharged and acquitted with only one
