Abuja – The former Works and Housing Minister,
Adesewe Ogunlewe, has been arraigned at the State High Court in Ogun State for
alleged misuse of funds of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta
He is a Pro-Chancellor of the institution.
He has been arraigned alongside Prof. Olusola Oyewole, the
Vice Chancellor and Moses Olusola Ilesanmi, a bursar, before Justice
They appeared on an 18 -count charge bordering on
conspiracy, stealing, obtaining money by false pretence and abuse of office.
They have pleaded not guilty to all the charges.

Justice Majekodunmi granted the first and second defendants

The defendants must submit their International Passports to
the Court Registrar.
The court ordered that the defendants be remanded in prison
custody pending the perfection of their bail conditions.
Justice Majekodunmi adjourned ruling on the bail application
of the third defendant to Monday.
The trial will commence on December 16.
