Falana tells Buhari to let Buratai to resign or sack him

Abuja - President Muhammadu Buhari has been urged by Human Rights Lawyer, Femi Falana, to rather sack the Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai over corruption, Punch reported.

This comes after Buratai purchased properties in Dubai worth $1.5 million.

Falana has stated that although Buratai is doing a good job in fighting terrorism and Boko Haram sect in the in the country.

Buratai's administration needs to be looked into says Falana.

According to the Nigeria Army, Buratai had paid the properties' installments through his savings but Falana has stated that it is lies.

The government has come with a ruling to clear Buratai from the fraud and the Human Rights Writers Association has welcomed it.
