Lagos - Human rights lawyer, Femi Falana, has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to grant presidential pardon to the soldiers convicted for mutiny by a military court martial, Premium Times reports.
Falana said this in a petition addressed to President Buhari
He said the findings of the Arms Procurement Panel, instituted by Buhari, had vindicated the soldiers.

The Senior Advocate of Nigeria stated that the president himself had admitted in a BBC Hausa Service on December 28 that the soldiers who were convicted for mutiny were ill-equipped.
Last year, Yussuf Buratai, the Chief of Army Staff, ordered the immediate reinstatement of about 3 000 soldiers dismissed by the previous administration over the same offence.
