Abuja - Former spokesperson to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan's Presidential Campaign Organisation, Femi Fani-Kayode declared yesterday that he had met all the requirements for his bail, Vanguard reports
In a statement, Fani-Kayode said that he was feeling confident and was in high spirits as he was only awaiting the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, to verify the documents and release him so that he could rejoin his family.

"Kindly be notified that Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has met all the conditions for his bail and the relevant documents have been duly filed and submitted at the Federal High Court in Lagos.
"We are now waiting for the EFCC to verify the documents, after which he would be released. Despite the fact that he has been locked up for the past 62 days, he remains confident, strong, healthy and in very high spirits," the statement read.
News24 Nigeria reported a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos had granted former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani- Kayode bail to the amount of N250 million and 2 sureties in like sum.
The Commission had on June 28 arraigned Fani-Kayode, Nenadi Usman, former finance minister, alongside Danjuma Yusuf and Jointrust Dimensions Nigeria Ltd on a 17-count charge bordering on conspiracy and corruption.
