Ekiti – Outspoken governor Ayodele Fayose reportedly attacked fiery Muslim preacher, Sheikh Muhydeen Ajani Bello, during a prayer session on Saturday in Ado-Ekiti.
According to Sahara Reporters, the preacher had advised Fayose to be modest in his public utterances.
This, however, did not sit well with Fayose, who responded with "abusive" words.
The preacher attempted to reply him but was stopped from doing so by elders in attendance. The preacher had his microphone disabled.
The prayer conference had been organized by the Southwest branch of the Ansar-ud-Deen Muslim Society of Nigeria.
