Ekiti - Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has dared President Muhammadu Buhari to carry out a plot that wants to prevent him from traveling abroad, Vanguard reported.
According to reports, Fayose said that "under the federal system of government, State governors are not supposed appendages of the President and as a leading opposition figure in Nigeria, I can't be vowed by President Muhammadu Buhari".

Fayose's remarks came after two governors were put on restricted travelling by Buhari. Fayose described the development as "very unfair".
In order to put a travel ban on a governor, a court order needed to be drawn.
Leadership reported that travel bans had been proposed to be restricted to corrupt individuals.
