Fayose is the cause of fuel scarcity - APC attacks

25 April 2016, 06:39

Abuja - The All Progressives Congress (APC) has lashed out at Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, accusing him of complicity in fuel supply issues across the state.

According to a Naij report, the party has released a statement signed by Publicity Secretary Taiwo Olatunbosun, alleging that it is in possession of "incontrovertible evidence" relating to Fayose's contribution to the state's fuel crisis.

In addition, it has also been alleged that Fayose has been complicit in fuel scarcity as a way to sabotage President Muhammadu Buhari, whom he has been very vocal in criticizing.

Olatunbosun has also stated that Fayose and his aides have been diverting fuel to other states as a means to disparage the Federal Government and set the people against Buhari.

"Records have revealed that 10 trailers of fuel for Ekiti State on Fayose’s request were diverted mostly to stations outside the state," read the statement, in part.
