Fayose needs spiritual deliverance – Oni

Ado Ekiti - Former governor of Ekiti State, Segun Oni, has urged supporters of Governor Ayo Fayose to ascertain his mental and emotional state before things get out of hand,

Oni stated that Fayose needs to be spiritually delivered from emotional bondage.

Oni, who is the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) spoke in reaction to his successor’s letter to the Chinese government not to grant Nigeria a $2bn loan.

Fayose had in the letter addressed to the Chiness President Xi Jinping said Nigerians were opposed to increment of the country’s debt burden, which is already being serviced with 25 per cent of the Federal Government annual budget.

But reacting in a statement issued by his media office, Oni urged, sincere associates of Governor Fayose, who love him genuinely, to take steps towards affirming his emotional and psychological stability in order to save him from himself.

Oni said Fayose’s seemingly strange behaviour is not strange to people like him as he is only behaving to type.
