Abuja - Executive Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose,
on Tuesday paid a solitary visit to detained former minister of aviation, Femi
He reportedly spent some two hours with the suspect.
Jude Ndukwe, Fani-Kayode’s spokesperson, said Fayose’s visit
was the latest among those of top dignitaries who have paid solidarity visits
to the former minister.

Among these are Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu,
Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah of the Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, Senators,
leaders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and other political, religious
and socio-cultural organizations.
Fani-Kayode is on Thursday expected to be arraigned at a
Federal High Court in Abuja for alleged corruption.
