Abuja - When the 2015 general elections were first scheduled to hold in February 2015, Nigerians on Twitter created different hashtags to support their candidates in the elections.
One of the most popular hashtags that was created was #Febuhari.
It was created by supporters of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari.
The hashtag became so popular that it trended for an entire month even after the elections were shifted to March, 2015.
Buhari later won the election and become the first opposition candidate to win a presidential poll in Nigeria.
One year has passed and it again trending on Twitter.
Twitter users are using the hashtag to compare the promises Buhari made when he was campaigning, to the reality of what’s currently on ground now that he is President.
