Abuja - Members of the House of Representatives are currently at each other’s throat over which car to purchase for official use, Daily Sun reports.
While the leadership of the House is in support of the Nigerian made Peugeot 508, majority of the members want the more prestigious Toyota Prado Landcruiser SUV.
The lawmakers believed they should also use the same vehicle used by their colleagues in the Senate.

The Senate recently bought Toyota Landcruiser V8 engine Sport Utility vehicles for members.
The SUVs according to New 24 were purchased for N35m each.
Aside the issue of cars, the lawmakers are also quarreling over constituency projects.
Many lawmakers have accused principal officers of cornering projects that should have been shared to other constituencies in their states and zones.
