Ogun - A female student of the school, Oladokun Leshi Folashade of Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic, Ijebu Igbo, Ogun State was allegedly battered by soldiers attached to the school.

Oladokun, 28, a National Diploma 2 student of Mass Communication, was among the students asked by the school authorities to pay a mandatory fee of N5 000 for the repair of one of the buildings that got burnt in the school recently.

She however could not meet up with the payment at the stipulated period but decided to pay cash on the day of the incident.

The soldiers however denied her entry into school to write her exams for coming with the money late and were said to have later flogged her endlessly for pleading with them to allow her enter for the exam.

A petition by her lawyer, Habeeb Whyte of R.R.A & Associates, has been forwarded to the Ogun State Governor’s Office, the Ministry of Education, Office of the Speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly and National Association of Ogun State Students (NAOSS).
