“Matters came to a head on Saturday when, without any provocation, Suleiman Kabiru, a Muslim from Kebbi state charged at Fani-Kayode injuring him in the process,” the source said.
Kabiru was allegedly stopped from inflicting further harm on Fani-Kayode following the intervention of other officials who promptly broke up the fight.
EFCC spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren, has yet to make commentary on the matter.
