Abuja - An Ogun State market has been gutted following a fire that broke out late on Tuesday night, Punch reports.
The fire, which razed the popular Kuto Market in Abeokuta, is said to have caused damage amounting to several million naira.
No fewer than 14 shops have been affected by the blaze, the cause of which is yet to be ascertained.

Olusola Ekundayo, Caretaker Chairman of the Abeokuta LGA, visited the area on Wednesday, promising that an investigation into the cause of the fire is currently underway.
Several victims affected by the fire have expressed shock at the development, pleading with government for assistance in recovering from their losses.
