Abuja - Five militants are alleged to have been arrested in connection with the bombing of a Chevron Nigeria Limited crude oil pipeline in the Warri-South West LGA of Delta State.
According to Sun News Online, the suspects are said to have blown the pipeline up at two different locations, though it was not clear whether a pipeline or oil well was the target of the attack.

Although the Niger Delta Avengers have not claimed responsibility for the attack on Friday, a source has disclosed that those arrested do belong to the militant group.
On Thursday the Niger Delta Avengers had issued a threat to Chevron, warning that another attack would soon occur if repairs continued to be made to a pipeline that the group had attacked previously.
