One of the men is alleged to have been taken to hospital due to an injury sustained during the altercation, following which his colleagues went on a revenge mission and killed three members of the opposition in different locations within the area.

Osifo Abiodun, PR Officer for the State Police, has confirmed the development, saying the number of casualties had yet to be ascertained.

“We are very sure that before the end of tomorrow (Tuesday) we will be able to arrest those that have been fingered in the action,” Abiodun was reported as saying by The Nation.
