Port Harcourt - Plans have been announced by the Rivers
State government to introduce free bus rides to students in the state, Vanguard
The government has stated that the service would start in
July, as the gesture would alleviate the suffering of school children not being
able to go to school.

Commissioner of Transport, Dagogo Fubara, has explained that
the buses would take off from Borikiri to Mile 3 and also transport the school
children back after school.
The service is strictly for students and must be dressed in
school uniforms to enjoy the free service.
