Abuja - Thousands of residents in Plateau
State will benefit from a free medical outreach. Scheme provided by
Istifanus Dauda Gyang, representing
Barkin Ladi/Riyom Constituency at House of Representatives.
The gesture is with the support of the National Agency
for the Control of AIDS, the Sustainable Development Goals and Plateau Agency
for the control of AIDS.
The exercise will take place at Gwol Motel and St. Mark
Primary School in Barkin Ladi.
Gyang said the programme was designed to ensure the
majority of the residents accessed free medical assistance.

He added that the programme is targeted at reaching about
5 000 underprivileged in the rural areas and internally displaced persons in
Barkin Ladi and Riyom.
The lawmaker said residents would get easy and free
access to medical personnel, blood sugar test, blood pressure, malaria test,
deworming for children with free drugs and counseling.
He promised to sustain the programme as part of
his efforts at providing quality healthcare service to the people of his
