Abuja - Former President Goodluck Jonathan is set to be honoured by the Diplomatic Circle in Geneva, Switzerland next year, Naij reports.
Jonathan, who has become a global icon, has been selected to be honoured due to his democratic beliefs and upholding of human rights across the continent.

According to the group, Jonathan's concession of defeat to President Muhammadu Buhari deserves the attention of the Nobel Peace Prize Committee and as such, Jonathan will become the first African leader to be honoured at the prestigious event.
The former Statesmen is also set to deliver a keynote address at the gala dinner.
