Gov Ambode directs reconstruction of two roads in Oshodi

Lagos - Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos state, on Monday directed the state Public Works Corporation to commence reconstructin work on Inasa and Igbehinadun Streets in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government area in the next seven days.

The governor gave the directive during an inspection tour of ongoing road reconstruction work in Oshodi-Isolo LGA and Mosan-Okunola Local Council Development Area.

He said that reconstruction of the two roads would complement work on the construction of Brown Street in Oshodi which is a link road to Agege Motor Road.

Ambode also visited Kairo market in the area where he declared zero tolerance for street trading.

At Mosa-Okunola Local Council Development Area, Ambode urged the residents to make good use of the newly completed Ipaja-Ayobo road which he promised three months ago to deliver by December.

He also promised that work would commence on Ishefun-Ayetoro road by the first week of January, 2016.
