Abuja - The Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) on Friday met behind closed-doors at the banquet hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, reports Business Day.
The meeting was presided over by the Chairman of the forum, Governor Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara State.
The meeting critical looked at the economy of the states.
The governors also threw their weight behind the economic measures being introduced by President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration to bring the country out of recession.
President Muhammadu Buhari and his cabinet members had on Thursday held an emergency retreat in the same hall, to strategise on how to get the country out of recession.
