Abuja - In a bid to rid the country of insurgency, soldiers engaged some members of the Boko Haram sect in a clearance operation in Yobe State.
According to Naij, Army Spokesperson Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman revealed that troops from Operation Lafiya Dole carried out the operation on Tuesday, killing four terrorists and recovering weapons.

"The gallant troops overpowered the terrorists and killed 4 of them and captured 1 alive. The victorious troops also recovered 2 General Purpose Machine Guns (GMPG), 2 AK-47 Rifles and 144 rounds of 7.62mm (Special) ammunition from the terrorists," Usman's report revealed.
