Abuja - President Muhammadu Buhari has been urged by the
Arewa Youth Alliance, Concerned Human Rights and Vote for Service Initiative
not to declare Rivers State as a state of emergency, Vanguard reported.
This follows the last week's re-run election that was
characterised as violent.

According to AYA's President, Adeola Iilori, he observed
that the elections were filled with unemployed youth in possession of several
Buhari has been urged not to succumb to declaring a state of
emergency yet as it would not improve the security in the state.
