Abuja - Unknown gunmen have allegedly kidnapped a retired
permanent secretary of the Civil Service in Kogi State, Punch reported.
Moses Onivehu, who was last part of the Kogi State Ministry
of Health was allegedly kidnapped in his village.
According to reports the man was on his way back to Lokoja
after spending the weekend with his family.

The kidnappers have been in contact with the victim's
children but have not yet made a ransom.
The victims's wife, Mrs Onivehu has tried to plead with the
kidnappers stating that her husband is on drugs and should release him.
A top All Progressive Congress chieftain was also kidnapped
in Kaduna State by unknown men.
