Abuja - Three police officers have reportedly been killed after gunmen invaded a police station in Benue State on Sunday, Naij reports.

The armed men allegedly invaded Igumale Police Station in the Ado LGA of the State, killing the three officers and leaving another in a critical condition.

In addition, the men are said to have carted away guns during the attack.

“As I speak with you, our people are in shock and in fear. Although more security personnel had been drafted to Ado and the Police Commissioner had visited, there is tension because nobody knows the motive of the attackers,” Yamu revealed.
