Herbalists strip woman, kill her husband and friend

Abuja - Ogun State Police have confirmed the arrest of two herbalists for allegedly stabbing a man and his friend to death in the Agbado LGA of the State.

According to a Punch report, the herbalists, which happen to be siblings, attacked the two men with knives after they were confronted following an assault of of the of the men's wives.

The suspects, identified only as Quadri and Adam, had reported stripped Mutiat, the wife of one of the deceased men, naked following an altercation between the three parties. The men are also said to have beaten the Mutiat up.

When the two deceased, Wasiu Balogun and Wale Aderinto, confronted the suspects over the matter, following which the situation deteriorated and the stabbing occurred.

“The herbalists first attacked the friend, and when Wasiu held them, they stabbed him too. It was one of us who reported the matter at the police station. Wasiu had five children from his first wife, but I don’t know how many children Mutiat has for him,” a resident in the area, Olumide, reported.

ASP Abimbola Oyeyemi, Acting PR Officer for the Ogun State Police, confirmed the arrest of the two suspects while stating that an investigation is currently underway.
