Hoodlums stab KAI official 10 times

Lagos - Hoodlums allegedly extorting money from fun seekers at the Bar beach in Victoria Island, Lagos attacked an official of the Kick Against Indiscipline, KAI Brigade, Fatai Lawal and stabbed him 10 times, PM news reports.

The leader of the hoodlums, identified as Joseph Ogundele was arrested by the police and charged before the Igbosere Magistrates’ Court on a two-count charge of inflicting injury on a KAI official,

The police disclosed in the charge sheet that the hoodlums were fighting on the road at the Bar Beach when KAI officials intervene to disperse them.

Some of the hoodlums did not take kindly to this as they attacked the officials and stabbed them with dangerous weapons such as broken bottles, stones and sticks.

One of the KAI officials was stabbed 10 times all over the body.

A distress call was made to the DPO in charge of Bar Beach Police Division, Victoria Island, CSP Olusegun Ajamolaya who sent a team of policemen to arrest the trouble makers.

Joseph Ogundele was arrested while others escaped.
