Abuja - Emerging reports have revealed evidence implicating House of Representatives Speaker, Yakubu Dogara, in the padding of the 2016 budget, Naij reports.
The newly found evidence has backed previous claims made by Abdulmumin Jibrin, former Chairman of the House Committee for Appropriations, through a series of hand-written documents showing Dogara's involvement.

In addition, the Speaker is alleged to have close ties with Iyiola Omisore, a Nigerian businessman and politician who was previously Deputy Governor of Osun State.
Dogara has since reacted to the allegations, stating that the timing of the reports is suspicious and that he wonders why Jibrin kept the news to himself for this long.
