Lagos - The family of famous writer and civil rights activist, Ken Saro-Wiwa, on Tuesday announced the passing away of his first son, Ken Saro-Wiwa Jr., today following a stroke.
The younger Saro-Wiwa, who was only 47, died in London after suffering a severe stroke on Tuesday morning, according to his family.
The family said in a statement it was devastated, and requested privacy as it grieves.
It will announce funeral announcements at a later date.
