Lagos - A widow along with other suspects has been detained by the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly recruiting young schoolgirls as sex workers during school hours, Vanguard reports.
The widowed woman, Chinonso Okolokwo denied all charges against her saying that she instead was a sex worker.
Lagos State Police Command Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni stated that the suspect's method was to lure schoolgirls from surrounding secondary schools in the area and give them a change of clothes to change into until school closing hours.

It is believed that the young girls went home with between N1000 to N2000 depending on the amount of men they slept with, but that they were only paid ten percent of what customers actually paid.
Okolokwo denied that she had any knowledge of the alleged schoolgirls saying that she took to prostitution after the death of her husband 11 years ago to provide for her four children.
Investigations into the matter is still ongoing.
