I did not prostrate before Fayose - Aluko

08 April 2016, 17:20

Ekiti - The embattled former secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Ekiti state, Tope Aluko has denied he prostrated to beg Ekiti state governor Ayo Fayose for forgiveness.

Aluko said this while reacting to claims by former factional Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Dele Olugbemi that he prostrated before Governor Ayodele Fayose to beg for forgiveness.

Olugbemi revealed how he allegedly took Aluko, to Governor Ayodele Fayose at Eko Hotels in Lagos state on Sunday.

The embattled former secretary raised an alarm over alleged threat to his life, claiming that Governor Fayose had plans to undermine his safety.

He called on the Inspector-General of Police and to grant him protection, while urging the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister for Justice to fast-track the happenings of the 2014 governorship election in the state.
