Abuja – Deputy Governor of Imo, Prince Eze
Madumere, has urged youth to become self reliant to add value to their lives
"There is hardly anyone who cannot learn skills in various
areas,” Madumere said during a church reception in Oweri.
“Again, there is no person who is not blessed with a gift
but what matters is to develop them to the extent people begin to seek your
input in those areas they are needed,” he added.

He emphasised the need for education and called on the
youths to take the opportunity given to them by Owelle Rochas Okorocha led
government through the Free and qualitative education policy.
Madumere therefore admonished the youth of the state and
beyond to shun the idea of diminishing their potentials by limiting and failing
to improve themselves.
He stressed that everyone is a potential contributor to the
greatness of the society.
Madumere used the occasion to urge parents to train their
children in a way that would ensure they grew into responsible citizens.
