Interior Minister embarks on IDPs camps visit

Abuja -? ?The Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Danbazzu, has assured refugees of Government's determination to end the insurgency to enable them return home.

He made the pledge after his working visit to the Northeast to assess the condition of the affected victims of insurgent attacks.

The internally displaced persons (IDP) camps visited late Tuesday are in Adamwawa, Borno and Yobe States.

The Comptroller Generals of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigeria Prison Service and the Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) accompanied the minister.

Danbazzu meanwhile applauded the efforts of the security forces aimed at putting to an end the Insurgency.

?He welcomed a synergy where the Army personnel partnered with the corps personnel in tackling act of vandalism.
