IPOB believes Kanu will be released soon

Lagos - The Indigenous People Of Biafra(IPOB), is hopeful that their leader Nnamdi Kanu will be released on bail very soon.

They made this known in a press release made available to News24 on Friday, and revealed that it was  Nnamdi Kanu’s new legal team who  on  Wednesday.

successfully obtained an order from the Honorable Justice John Tsoho of Federal High Court, Maitama-Abuja, for the transfer of Kanu from DSS detention to Kuje prison where he will have access to his family, lawyers, doctor, and other related parties.

The IPOB, through the statement said that they were encouraged by the forthrightness of the Honorable Justice John Tsoho in ensuring that justice, equity, and fairness were displayed in his ruling regarding the transfer of their leader.

The group said that they expect a display of forthrightness on January 25 when Kanu’s lawyers make argument for bail in court.
