Abuja - Hot on the heels of Britain's Brexit vote, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) the announced the launch of their new campaign slogan, #Biafrexit.
According to Naij, the group made the announcement on Saturday through a statement released by leaders Emma Nmezu and Clifford Chukwuemeka.
In the statement, IPOB congratulates the people of Britain and heaps praise onto the British Government for being attentive to the desires of its citizens.
In addition, the group has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to follow in Britain's footsteps and organize a #Biafrexit in Nigeria.

The group lambasted former British Prime Minister David Cameron, however, describing him as a hypocrite.
“Why does David Cameron think that what is good for the white British people is not good for the black people of Africa especially Biafrans? Mr. David Cameron, in organizing BREXIT is taking advantage of the rights of people to make their choice.
“But in denying Biafrans the right to choose their own nation, David Cameron is telling Biafrans that they are inferior because of the colour of their skin. David Cameron is directly telling Biafrans that because they come from an inferior race, they do not deserve to exist as a nation of their own choice,” the statement read in part.
