Abuja - The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have lashed out at police officials, lambasting an order to crackdown on the Biafra supporters in Delta and Anambra States.
According to Sun News Online, IPOB spokesperson Emma Mmezu accused police boss Solomon Arase of alleging that members of the group had been armed during an anniversary clash with officials.

Mmezu rubbished claims that the clash was premeditated, while calling on police for proof to show that the plan was thought out beforehand.
“It is a shame that Solomon Arase is displaying crass incompetence and ignorance by lying that IPOB members were armed and that they attacked Nigerian policemen. Perhaps , he would have saved himself this embarrassment by conducting thorough investigation and checking with the CP in Anambra state," the group said in a statement.
