Abuja – The Isoko Vanguard for Change, a Delta
State pressure group, has called for the impeachment of President Muhammadu
Buhari saying it had lost faith in his leadership.
Spokesperson, Gilead Ekomeko Omaha, said the organisation
had “cautiously” studied the All Progressives Congress-led Muhammadu Buhari
Federal Government since its inception from May last year.
“While the government appears to have concentrated so much
of its time, energy and resources on probe, the Nigerian nation is sliding on
the precipice. The socio-economic lives of Nigerians are threatened by the
present economic realities of the nation,” said Omaha.

He cited a number of problems he believes Buhari’s
government might have handled better.
Among the issues are lack of an economic blueprint, fuel
scarcity, loss of jobs, worsening security situation and disregard to court

National Assembly to commence impeachment procedure on Buhari,” said Omaha.
