Bayelsa - Samuel Oki, a relative of former President Goodluck Jonathan’s uncle, kidnapped on Tuesday February 17 along with the uncle, has been buried in Otuoke.
The deceased was taken away with Jonathan’s uncle and killed by the kidnappers.
He was found dead in Otueke River.
Fishermen found the decomposing body of Oki floating in the river and recovered it.
Armed gunmen had on Wednesday abducted 72-year-old Inegite Jonathan, President Jonathan’s uncle and foster father, but the kidnap of Oki was not immediately noticed until several hours later.
Those who attended the funeral include Jonathan, former Commissioner for Health, Azibapu Eruani, and the Chairman of Azikiel Construction Company.

A family member, Paul Igbogamini, said he was sad over the demise of Oki, urging the family and well-wishers to stay calm and leave everything to God.
“No amount of tears can bring this our brother back, vengeance is of the Lord, He knows everything, I believe his death will not go in vain,” he said.
