Abuja - Chief Justice and Chair of the National Judicial Council (NJC), Justice Mahmud Mohammed, has pleaded with Nigerians to retain faith in the judiciary amid the recent arrest of judges for alleged corruption.
Among other measures to rid the fraternity of corruption, Mohammed disclosed NJC was currently investigating the various complaints made against a number of judicial officers.
NJC said as soon as investigations were completed, appropriate recommendations would be made to President Muhammadu Buhari or Governors.
Meanwhile, Mohammed said NJC was concerned by the rising antagonism over the recent arrest of judicial officers and other issues pertaining thereto.
