Kanu agrees to dialogue with Buhari

Abuja - Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu has agreed to negotiate with President Muhammadu Buhari to end agitation, Punch reported.

This comes after Kanu made this known to his lawyer while he was reacting to government's decision release some members that were arrested earlier on in the year.

Federal Government wants to end the agitation by self-governance and has realised that Kanu wants a genuine political solution to end the matter.

His lawyers led by, Ifeanyi Ejiofor and Amoebi Nzelu state that Kanu as proven integrity and impeccable character that will negotiate the matte on his behalf.

Further Kanu has no connections with the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta.
