Kidnap kingpin killed by soldiers in Abia

Abuja - Soldiers have killed kidnap kingpin, Chisom Enyinnaya, along the Opobo-Azumini highway in Abia State, Vanguard reported.

Enyinnaya who was also known as "Ipo", is said to have been notorious together with his gang members.

His gang engaged soldiers in a gun battle and the kingpin was shot dead while his gang escaped with bullet wounds.

Enyinnaya and his gang members were on the most wanted list of the security agencies.

Soldiers have been commended by the public for killing the kingpin as they have been terrorised for a long time by the gang.

The gang had always attacked and robbed motorists of which the public had appealed to the Federal Government to seize the terrorising.
