Kaduna - Sani Bello, the member representing Mashi/Dutsi federal constituency in the House of Representatives, has regained freedom two days after he was abducted, reports Daily Trust
The legislator, who was abducted with one of his aides, was freed after a ransom of N10 million was paid.
Bello according to New 24 was abducted from his farm at Gobirawa village of Birnin Gwari area of Kaduna State on Wednesday.
The kidnappers had immediately after Bello's abduction established contact with the relations and associates of Bello

They demanded for N10 million ransom before they can release him.
Confirming his release, the Katsina state chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Shittu Shittu, said the lawmaker was released immediately the said sum was paid.
He said: “The abductors asked that the member’s driver should take the money to a designated place and just between 15 and 20 minutes later, Bello was released.”
