30 November 2016, 08:21

Lagos - Kidnappers of a 65-yearold guard, Kakaja Joseph, and four other poultry workers at Igbodu in Epe area of Lagos State on Sunday have demanded for N25 million ransom from the victims’ family members.

The demand for ransom was made by the kidnappers when they called Joseph’s son, Isaiah, at about 9pm on Monday, reports New Telegraph.

The guard’s son, Isaiah Joseph, said he was already sleeping when the strange caller called him and asked for the ransom.

He said the caller told him that what they were after was money and that the family should hasten up and get them the money.

He, however, said the family cannot afford the money they are demanding.

News 24 recalls that about 20 armed men, dressed in military camouflage uniform on Sunday, swooped on Kodjo Farm and abducted five people.

They later blocked the Molajoye Road and kidnapped two travellers.
