Abuja – Kidnappers of former minister, Iyabo Anisulowo, are reportedly demanding N200 million as ransom for her release, family and security sources have said.
According to Premium Times, her abductors contacted the family using Anisulowo mobile phone on Friday, demanding the payment.
The former minister was kidnapped on Wednesday by armed men.
Anisulowo, who was a Senator between 2003 and 2007, represented Ogun West Senatorial District at the National Assembly. She was reportedly abducted while she was returning from her farm.
She was kidnapped alongside her security aide along Igbogila road in Yewa North local government area of Ogun State.
