Lagos - An autopsy was conducted on the corpse of Ronke Shonde allegedly killed by her husband in the Egbeda area of Lagos state, Vanguard reports.
The police authorities handling the case said the autopsy was necessary to ascertain the cause of her death following denial by her husband, Lekan that he killed her.
The husband had claimed that the wife died as a result of hypertension after an heated argument ensued between them.
Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni debunked reports from some quarters that the autopsy report was out.
Meanwhile the alleged lover of late Ronke, has reportedly failed to show up at work since Monday.
The alleged lover who is the Managing Director of a publishing firm in Ikeja, has been absent from work ever since the story broke out according to workers who refused to divulge any further information on the allegation.
