Abuja - The Economic Financial Crimes Commission has
released Kwara Lawmaker, Saheeed Popoola, after quizzing him to due a N13.5
million Hajj fund, Punch reported.
According to reports, the EFCC wrote to the Assembly
inviting the lawmaker to appear before the anti-graft agency.
Popoola states that he was honoured to receive the
invitation and after the interrogation he was allowed to go home.

This all comes after some people were not able to go to Hajj
and therefore because he was Chairman at the time, people petitioned against
Popoola has said "I am not a travel agent."
According to him this has nothing to do with the Assembly
but a personal vendetta.
