Lagos - The annual Lagos Advertising and Ideas Festival (LAIF) is set to celebrate and reward creative excellence in Nigeria’s advertising, media and marketing sector.
The event will kick off this (Wednesday) morning with the Young LAIFERs competition.
It is a platform where young practitioners and budding creative talents showcase their creativity.

This seminar will be followed by the LAIF Awards Seminar on Friday. It is expected to pool about 500 participants from the marketing communications industry.
Founded in June 2006, LAIF is a brainchild of the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN) formerly known as Association of Advertising Practitioners of Nigeria (AAPN).
The association is the umbrella body that coordinates and promotes the interest of Advertising Agencies in Nigeria.
LAIF was established in line with AAAN's mission to regulate the practice of advertising among member-agencies.
Chairman of LAIF Managing Board, Ikechi Odigbo, said the committee had done well in planning this unique landmark of LAIF.
"We are celebrating a decade of consistency and integrity and it is our delight that the creative industry is celebrated in this manner," said Odigbo.
